There is a number of different methods which can be used to fit our flooring and every project is a bit different from others.We will give you brief expanation for the main proceses that needs to be done before starting. The main three methods for floor fitting are:

NAIL DOWN WOOD FLOORING INSTALLATION (SECRET NAILING)

This metod of instalation is used when you alredy have existing floor.It is when a serrated nail is driven on a 45 degree angle through the tongue of the board using a Porta-Nailer. The positive site of this metod is that the nails remain hidden and hold down the new floor boards to each other and to the old floor.

GLUE DOWN WOOD FLOORING INSTALLATION

This metod of instalation can be used when you alredy have existing floor(tiles,wood floor,concrete).The procedures for preparing the floor for each type is different but breafly can be said that this is a method suitble for concrete floors with good level.The level of humidity is very important so the floor has to be comlety dry in order to put a wood floor on top of it.

FLOATING WOOD FLOORING INSTALLATION

This is one of the most popular and fast methods of floor fitting.The first step is placing underlay, which is chosen acording to the size of the room. On top of it we mount on the new floor for which it’s used only glue.The name of the process sugests that there are no nails or pins involved in the instaling.This is a very fast method of instaling a new floor. We recomend it for saving time but still achieving quality.
